Survey for city councils - France - Open

Greening buildings provide a valuable contribution in enabling the urgently needed adaptation to climate change in our cities and buildings. 

This survey is part of a comprehensive European market research initiative introduced by the innovation lab GRÜNSTATTGRAU in cooperation with the Austrian Green Roof and Living Wall Association (VfB) and the European Federation of Green Roofs (EFB), intended to highlight the growing importance of the greening building industry across Europe. 

The Austrian Green Market Report is implemented with a broad support by the representatives of the Austrian greening industry (Austrian Community of landscape architects, gardeners and landscapers association, Austrian economic chamber guilds, institute for flat roofs and many more) and aims to illustrate the latest market developments, trends and future growth opportunities. This will enable strategic investments in the industry and in creating jobs through politics, administration and the private sector.  

The survey at hand is an inquiry on the perspectives, strategies and measures regarding climate change adaptation of Austrian cities and communities with more than 10.000 inhabitants, with the purpose of identifying the role of greening buildings in climate change adaptation.
